The younger twin of the two, Yuta is more obstinate and little devilish compared to his brother. However, despite his sunny and sociable disposition, he is straightforward about his thoughts as he is in the middle of growing up. Cherishes Hinata, his older brother, greatly. With a soft, unabating singing voice, his performances are defiant and without restraint.
Part of 2wink under COSMIC PRODUCTION. His goal is for the individual "Yuta Aoi" to become a self-sustaining idol, recognized by the world. Recently, he has been finding ways to express originality/creativity through content posted on social media.[2]

Ensemble Stars! Profile
The calm yet mischievous younger twin, Yuta is always seen with Hinata. Loved by his older twin, he often gets pushed around.
He has a different opinion than Hinata when it comes to 2wink's course of action. While Hinata wants to make the best use of the fact that they're twins, Yuta wishes to be independent instead. Outside of the unit, he gets along with Hinata in the Light Music Club, to the extent where they swap musical instruments for practice. He loves spicy food and eats it a lot.
Appearance
Yuta is of average height and build, and can often be seen with more serious expressions than his twin Hinata. He has medium length orange hair that is parted in the middle, with two aqua clips on the right side. By the time of ES' first Chocolat Festival, his hair is long enough to reach his shoulders to be put it into a small messy bun. His eyes are green. He wears the school's uniform with the collar up and his shirt untucked. He can also be seen usually wearing aqua colored headphones with the cord tucked into the pocket of his blazer, which is left unbuttoned. The headphones have a small black and white circle design on them. He also wears dull blue sneakers with red accents and white laces.
On stage, Yuta wears a teal jacket with pink insides, opposite to Hinata. The color scheme is their unit's signature colors--hot pink and aqua blue, and accented with white, black and yellow. There are pink straps connected to his jacket that flow around. Underneath the jacket is a white, high-collared vest with a black accents and a zipper down the middle. He wears a belt with a teal strap and white-pink triangle buckle. Yuta also wears black pants with a yellow stripe down the sides. He wears black hiker-like boots with teal, white and yellow accents. Connected to the top part of the boot are two pink triangles intertwined together, hanging from the top. Both Yuta and Hinata wear a yellow band on their wrist, and matching black headphones with a crystal-like design for the speaker. Yuta wears pink and aqua nail polish when performing.
In Ensemble Stars!
On stage, Yuta wears a sleeveless, high collared vest that is opposite in colors to Hinata's outfit. The color scheme is their unit's signature colors--hot pink and aqua blue, and accented with white and black. He also wears harem pants designed in the same colors, with the main color being aqua. The pants have two black straps on the sides and yellow buckles. He wears aqua high top sneakers with hot pink, white and yellow accents. He also wears aqua and white striped wrist bands, with white bracelets over them. He also wears a pair of headphones in white and aqua, different from his usual ones. He wears matching aqua and pink colored nail polish on stage.
Personality
A calm, introverted boy at first glance, Yuta tends to appear much more responsible and serious compared to his twin brother. He is still learning who he truly is, and yearns for independence: he dedicates time to discovering his tastes and exploring new sides of himself, through fashion, hobbies or otherwise.
He can be quite prideful and competitive, and does not enjoy being looked down upon or coddled. In the same vein, he likes spoiling and taking care of his friends, as shown with Shinobu or Hajime. He is particularly good at handling eccentric people and can keep his cool through chaotic situations.
Yuta has a playful and mischievous side to him; he can be quite sharp-tongued and enjoys sarcasm, and is not below pulling pranks on his seniors, including Rinne and COS PRO’s Vice-President Ibara.
While he tends not to voice his negative feelings, he can hold grudges for a long time; this results in him acting petty towards those who wronged him.
He has a self-preserving attitude, and will sabotage others if it means protecting the people he cares about.
Etymology
Both his and his twin's names are solely written in hiragana. Their last name is the name of a species of plant whose scientific name is Asarum caulescens Maxim., characterized by its heart-shaped leaves, two of which often grow symmetrically from the same stem, which parallels the fact that Hinata and Yuta are a pair of twins.

His family consists of his father, his older brother Hinata Aoi, and two pet cats.
It's likely that Hinata was born first and Yuta came after him, but there is no confirmation of this. However, ever since Hinata heard about this from his mother, he has taken on the role of being the older brother for Yuta.[3]
Yuta holds a very strong grudge against his father, refusing to forgive him for how he treated the two of them during their childhood.
Trivia
- Yuta's autograph consists of his first name and the initial of his last name, rendered in Roman letters. His autograph also features a triangle motif — 2wink's signature design.
- Sora described his color as "Watercolor texture[4]".
- Yuta has a big fear of bugs and ghosts, and he tends to lose all common sense and panic around both.

"Hinata-kun and Yuta-kun both have this cheerful, mischievous, and friendly image, but Hinata-kun is supposedly more spirited, while Yuta-kun is slightly troubled by his older twin, and I find this configuration kind of charming.
