He informs him that it's going to be a special episode themed around treasure-hunting and puzzle solving. Izumi agrees and they all decide to meet up early to discuss the details. Karou and Izumi run into Souma on the way and accidentally lead him to believe they are heading to an OCEANS meeting. When they realize their mistake, they officially invite him to participate in the Happy Jam program.

Episode 2
Winter
Nazuna, Kaoru, Izumi, and Souma meet with Anzu to discuss the details of the Happy Jam program. They learn that they'll have to decipher a treasure map submitted to the show by a fan who found it in an old diary. After discussing the filming details, they decide to get started and switch on the cameras before pulling out the map. Immediately, they're lost. It's covered in circles, but without a legend or markings they can't even tell where the map is supposed to represent. Nazuna, Souma, and Anzu decide to reach out to the client for more information while Izumi and Kaoru go to the library to try and identify the location.
At the library, Izumi and Kaoru narrow down the possible map locations after realizing the client's ancestor likely hadn't traveled far. They check maps of the areas surrounding the client's home and discover that the treasure map features the island on which ES is built. They get a message from Nazuna on his progress and decide to meet back up.

Episode 3
Winter
Nazuna and Souma discuss how Anzu helped them convince the client to lend them the diary by ensuring their privacy would be protected and the diary wouldn't be damaged. They then head back to Seisoukan Apartment to meet up with the others.
That night, back at his dorm, Izumi puzzles over the circles drawn over the map. He gets a video call from Leo, who begs him to find some things he'd forgotten and bring them back to Florence with him. Noticing the map on the desk, Leo gets intrigued and starts wildly guessing about what kind of puzzle Izumi's trying to solve. Izumi refuses to show him the map and switches off the camera, annoyed by everyone's interest and his lack of progress in solving it.
Earlier that day in the common room, Izumi had been working on the map when he noticed Makoto sneaking by. After Makoto showed some interest in the treasure hunt, Izumi became even more motivated to solve the puzzle and impress him.

Episode 4
Winter
The next morning, Chiaki and Kaoru are chatting about work when an exhausted Izumi joins them for breakfast. When they ask him what happened and point out the dark circles under his eyes, Izumi claims it's just jet lag. Kaoru mentions that the horoscope he'd read said it'd be a bad day for Scorpios, but tries to cheer Izumi up by showing him it also says they'll be lucky in their work. Izumi notices the astrology constellation and suddenly realizes the link between them and the circles on their treasure map.
When everyone meets up in the library that afternoon, he shows them how the pattern on the map matches the constellations for Leo, Scorpio, and the Hydra. Nazuna mentions that the diary author's spouse really liked astrology and shows everyone a picture of the married couple that the client lent him. Izumi notices that their wedding rings are shaped like snakes. Overhearing their conversation, Tsumugi joins and tells them that the rings resemble ouroboros, symbolizing eternity, and are likely linked to the Hydra on the map. Kaoru points out that the head of the Hydra lies right over ES, but that there probably isn't any treasure there after the construction of ES. They decide to check the location of the Hydra's tail.

Episode 5
Winter
Nazuna, Kaoru, Izumi, and Souma visit the hill marked on the map by the Hydra, but they can't find any treasure. Disappointed but hoping to enjoy the trip and scenery nonetheless, they're discussing their plans to continue working on the puzzle when they notice Anzu and the program staff approaching. Anzu tells them the client found a letter within the frame of an old marriage photo that contains the entire story of the treasure map. It turns out that they found the right spot, but rather than a treasure, it led to the spot where the diary author's spouse proposed to them. Nazuna notices that the author lives by ES, and that following their engagement, they'd have returned home together, completing the "circle of the ouroboros' everlasting loop". The five of them decide to wait until nightfall, make wishes on the stars, and then return to ES, completing the loop themselves.
