unfortunately there are no chibis on white background in-game anymore, so extracting the chibi is a bit harder. when doing it manually, i use the grain extract layer of GIMP to extract the chibi (explanation here). this method requires two images: a screenshot of the dance room in the motion view without any chibi in it (e.g. if you first enter the room and no chibi has loaded yet, you could take a screenshot then) and the screenshot of the same room with the chibi in it
as i mentioned in the tutorial, an image of only the background is required for this method which i don't have for your resolution... if you can't intall GIMP, you could try to google how to remove backgrounds with photoshop or whatever image manipulation program you have (and there's still the option of using the eraser tool if all else fails)
I have translated the missions up to day 20 and I would like to add them to the Motor Show event page (music tab). I tried to edit it myself but then found out someone has already written the day one mission in the source mode, but it does not show up in the visual mode. I tried to compare it to the basic tab's source mode but nothing is different yet basic tab's missions show up in the table. What should I do? Should I just leave my translation of the 20 music missions in the source mode and let someone else fix it? Or would it be possible for you to guide/help me how to fix it and I'll do it myself?
Hello! I'm so sorry to bother! Could I ask how you fixed the issue? I was trying to add missions but I got stumped because they weren't showing up, as you said! I want to know how to fix it in case it happens again in the future lol... Thank you so much for filling out the page!! :D
Acutally it was a simple mistake that was there before I started editing. There were two "Day 1"s & "Day 2"s in the source mode, so I just needed to delete the extra "Day 1" & "Day 2". It took me a long time to realise this, with so many "day -" going on for so many lines, it's no wonder how we missed it.
I only realised this when I typed the Day 3 mission in the source mode and see it being in the "Day 1" row in the visual mode.
Oh wow, yeah, I totally missed that too! Thank you so much for pointing it out! Yeah all those days were disorienting... but thank you so much! I'll keep an eye out for repeating lines like that in the future.
I'm sorry for bothering you again but I still don't understand how to update the content on the new Ensemble Stars page. Is it possible to make a short video clip to show me how. I'm trying to update Hajime's profile page but as you can see I don't understand how to add the new content part. Can you help. Thank you.
hi, i see that Euni already explained the process to you.
i saw you uploaded outfit images for Hajime, please note that we recently decided to use a different format for outfit images, since the old way covers the outfit too much
please refer to the ES Idol outfit that i uploaded for Hajime for the new format: Hajime_Shino/Outfits
hey there, sorry if I bother you. I saw you were the last person who edited the Ritsu outfits page and I assume you translated the outfit names? The japanese text for Catboy Ritsu is ニャン銃士衣装. I figured I should send this to the last editor of that page.
Once again my apologizes if I'm bothering ya. Have a good day/night.
(i didn't update his profile page, but i can explain it to you)
the general structure of the new profile pages is as follows:
(new content here)
(put old content here)
(if there are sources on the page, put them after the tabber tag)
you can use the old profile as guidance, e.g. put the same sections into the new profile (personality, trivia, ...)
though there are two templates that you can't simply copy: the character nav and the infobox
for the new character nav use this template and for the new infobox, go to this page and pick the appriopriate one from the infobox section
hope this helps, if something is not clear to you, feel free to ask
I edited the page and did what you instructed but I'm confused at the new content part and what to add on the Ensemble Stars Basic part. I'm also a little bit confused about the sources. Can you please help by fixing it up and making it neater please. Thank you.
you have to edit the sub page that contains the actual profile code (this page) not the main page
(to access it type "/Profile" at the end of the URL or right-click on the profile tab and open in new window)
i updated the structure, so you can fill in the missing info now if you want
Hi, sorry to approach, I wanted to ask more about that;; I don't know any Chinese, so I definitely believe you, I just wanted to ask if that was a pun or intentional name of some sort if you know? I put the name (of the page) as Kai Xin Xiao Xiao Le because that's the game that the collab is with, is the 海滨 part of the banner referring to the theme of it at all? Just that if there's a meaning to the name minus the phonetic(?) reading I wondered if it should be just translated versus kept phonetically;; But if "hai bin xiao xiao le" is the best way to have it I'll definitely change it! Sorry for the fuss.
no problem, as i understand (after a short search) "海滨消消乐" is kind of a spin-off game to "开心消消乐" (kai xin xiao xiao le) from the same company, so it's the intended name, i think. i thought about translating it too, but it's really just a title, so i think keeping the pinyin is the best choice :)
I don't know, I'm sorry. Someone else put up most of them, and the ones I put up I found on on the TW Enstars wiki, which has since ceased to be updated. This leads me to think that CN/TW may make it easier to obtain the full background images, because the only ones I have seen have been associated with those versions? But I am not sure how, myself.
Hm, I'm not really sure. There's technically always more to do, but there's so much it's hard to analyze, aha. If you mean specifically format updates, there are the scout categories (previous ones were all code, but newer ones use this template), but they're less important than card pags in the grand scheme of things, if important at all. ^^; I don't intend to force you to do anything (especially when you've already done so much), so that is merely one thing I can think of. I'm afraid I may be forgetting anything else that would fall in that category.
i see, i will be stitching a lot of idol roads for uploads next and then i will look into that
i don't feel forced at all, don't worry, if anything else comes to mind that you would like to be done before scout categories, let me know :)
