Hi there. I know I don't contribute much to the wiki; I mainly lurk and take info in and read the stories. I don't know how active you are on this wiki to be quite honest, but I don't think I ever see you unless it involves Arashi's page. Lmao.
By taking down her pronouns, not only is the page practically and grammarly incorrect, but it just shows your character too. Arashi has expressed multiple times that she is a woman and uses she/her pronouns (the story Beasts dives into this a LOT. I believe one of Izumi's sub stories in Enstars!! solidifies that fact too, as well as the recent Hajime gacha. Although to be honest I have not read Hajime's gacha yet so take that as you will). Enstars isn't really an all boy idols game anymore, and jokingly, it kinda never was. With Anzu, Arashi, and Madonee and all that, lmao. But anyway onto my point.
This doesn't make sense: "However, the head admin permits the wiki to note that Arashi has stated a clear preference in the Japanese script for being referred to with feminine terms (ie, actress, female model, etc) and for being seen as a woman." So you do admit that you realize that Arashi is a woman and refers to herself as such, yet you insist on not letting her use her pronouns? I don't really think that makes much sense. You're just digging yourself into a deeper hole.
Arashi is not a boy, and to be quite frank with you, Japan does talk about various topics such as the LGBT community AND police brutality. So it is not right to say that Japan is "in the dark" so to speak about these topics. We just cannot read Japanese obviously. Unless you can, I do not know that.
People were finally ecstatic to have Arashi's pronouns on her page. They were happy that Arashi was given the recognition and respect she deserves. Please allow to put her pronouns back on the page. She is canonically trans and by erasing her pronouns, you are erasing her identity.
I need to add one more thing to this message. I am trans myself (nonbinary specifically), so while I am not a trans woman myself, seeing Arashi as wonderful representation of being trans is really moving to me. You don't know what it's like to get good representation ever and you will never understand that. Likewise, you don't know how detrimental it is to have that good representation taken away. Enstars means a whole lot to me, even though I've only known this series for a year, and I'm sure Enstars means a lot to many others.
And if you do not care for Enstars much anymore, I do not think you should be admin for this wiki. Why bother being in charge of something you care so little about for. That didn't mean to come off rude, and if it did I am sorry, but my point still stands.
I think the wikia should be as objective as possible. The canon explicitly says Arashi uses feminine pronouns, if you're going agains't this it's a bit doubtful that you're able to be in such a high position in a wikia. It also seems a bit contradictory to say that she prefers being refered as a female and yet not doing so.
Please just comply already. IDK if you're even updated with the Enstars stories anymore but recent stories have made it explicitly clear that Arashi wants to be addressed as a woman??
The recent Hajime gacha (god bless) story has even tackled this, with Arashi mentioning how an old issue she modelled in which expresses masculinity made her absolutely uncomfortable to the point she buys those issues everywhere she sees it just so no one will.
If you can't even respect that, please don't even mod this wiki anymore. There are other people who can mod this wiki anyway and they surely have more respect to not only use Arashi's proper pronouns, but Happy Elements' wish to have her be addressed as such as well.
Arashi is a trans girl who has stated she only wants she/her pronouns/female-oriented pronouns, compliments, etc. used for her so please respect that,,, so please use them? Um it just doesnt feel right, especially if you dont exactly give a reason why you got rid of her pronouns on her wiki page... do you have reasons or are ya just being transphobic for the sake of it?
even if there are people who disagree, a majority of people recognize that she/her should be the pronouns for arashi's page, as she is a trans woman. ppl on this site have worked hard for this to be acknowledged only to have it be taken away from them? please realize the issue and fix it.
Hi Kazu! I've replaced Jr Mime as the Fandom Wiki Manager for the Wiki. I am here to help you and the community out with anything you need. Additionally, I will be the liaison to full-time Fandom staff. Please if you ever have any questions regarding the wiki, editing, styling, infoboxes, templates, etc, don't hesitate to ask me, take care!
Hello! I'm very sorry to bother! I was wondering if there were some way to be granted the ability to edit the top navigation bar? I believe the only active moderator with the privilege to do so is Kagehirin, and they're currently semi-away irl. I'd rather not bother them to adjust links while I streamline some content on the wiki, even when they're off vacation.
If it's not possible, I completely understand! I just felt bad about bothering them for a bunch of little things. Thank you for your time!
