Hello I'm just wondering why on profiles there's 2 tabs (ensemble stars ! And ensemble stars!!) But they both have the same info, and it's a little bit messy when editing them and the layout on mobile is confusing with it. Is there a purpose for it?
Because the infoboxes, main top sections, and appearances have different information. They are slowly being moved to be more convenient to edit with templates, but time is limited to fuss with all that.
Hello! I've noticed there's some mistakes on shu's wiki (the personality tab is empty) and some false info that needs to be corrected! I've been a shu producer since 2017 could I help with that since I have them written down already?
(Idk how else to contact anyone here, sorry if this isn't the way)
Hello. Anyone is welcome to edit the wiki and contribute to it, since a wiki is a community endeavor. If you are noticing mistakes, we would be grateful if you are able to correct them. Thank you for your time.
Ah, I see. It's because some pages are locked to new/unregistered users to prevent anonymous vandalization, and wiki considers one a new user until 4 days after you join. You can either send what you'd like to add here or send your contact through the wiki contact form (for privacy) so I can get in touch with you if you'd prefer not to discuss edits here?
How do you find the gallery tabber so that you can add a picture to gallery where a picture might be missing, like I wanted to see the new story Sora picture in a separate tab and it brought me to the gallery but then I couldn't find it. Can you help. Thanks!
You can see his CG in a separate tab by right clicking the image and opening the image in a separate tab. Gallery-wise, though, they are in templates named, for example, SoraHarukawaGallery!! - the character's name without spaces, gallery, and then !! for Enstars!! or ! for Enstars!. However, if you are adding missing images, please be very careful when adding; if you don't understand something, please let someone else do it, as the code is fairly fragile and will break easily if there are any input mistakes. If you follow exactly how the other files in that section are coded, though, it should be fine.
I am not sure why people are saying things like that, or where they are saying them, but that is untrue. If one wishes to converse with others, that is what the Forum is for, rather than the rest of the wiki, and it is no kind of necessity to speak there.
Mm, well, everyone has their opinion about that, I suppose... it's not wrong. It's just bothered me when the text is right up against the tabview on their full pages, but that's a personal thing, and only applies to the new characters regardless... thank you for telling me your reasoning.
I don't know chinese, however when I put that in google translate the English version comes out as (Break the Dilemma) Sora Harukawa. If I did it wrong, could you create the page please. You don't have to, I'm just wondering if it's a possibility.
I can't create the page until I know the name of the card. I don't trust Google Translate because it makes frequent mistakes. I dislike bothering people, so I was hoping someone would notice and translate at their convenience, but I will see if I can ask someone for help with them.
I noticed that on Rei's card page the name of the given background is written, however when you go to the background list there is a question mark. How do you fix it so that the name on the card is also seen in the background list?
I don't know if you recall, or even saw, but some time ago, I requested for KazuGami to revise Arashi's wiki page to be, at least, gender neutral. They were obstinate on the matter, even though there were at the time at least three cases in the Beasts story where it's made clear Arashi's gender is almost certainly not strictly male. For your convenience they are reposted here:
"(I thought he was just having some small puberty problems, not gut-wrenching gender-related problems like me…)" - Center of the World, Part 4
"I may not completely get it, but you’re a woman inside, right…?" - Center of the World, Part 7
"No way, I could never! But, well, I met an awfully charming woman!" - Epilogue
With the new release of Izumi's D-rank Idol Story, seen here, this makes even less sense. The relevant excerpt is presented below:
"Hmph. If I remember correctly, doesn't that fashion magazine have a feminine feel to it? Must be nice that it matches your image, Naru-kun." "Yup. I wasn't planning on making my gender identity a selling point, but I was like, sooo totally jazzed to get picked for this♪"
Additionally, actually reading Arashi's page, which currently doesn't use any pronouns at all for them, is a cumbersome task, because standard speech would quickly replace "Arashi" with some pronoun, gendered or not. Since it doesn't, their page is difficult to read, especially given the extensive material on it.
I would therefore like to request again that Arashi's page use gender-neutral pronouns. If you do not wish to make this change, I must of course respect that, but I would like to know why, as KazuGami asserted the first time I made this request, the terminology used by fansites holds greater sway than the actual text of the game. Warm regards.
Hello! It's the head mod (Kazugami)'s decision to not allow pronouns on Arashi's page, rather than Kagehirin's. Since you're a mod as well, I figure you might know other admins/mods aren't able to override that decision, but I apologize if this is redundant information/you already are aware of this. (I've talked to Kazu about adding pronouns to her page before, but I can't speak for the other admins.)
Since it's Kazu's decision, you might want to discuss this over on Kazu's wall, rather than any other admins'. Sorry for the confusion! ;;
Could someone please explain how the tabview works so that you can make all of the major event parts show up. I'm asking because I tried editing the new event Intersect / Motor Show page but nothing shows up except for the top bar showing the Basic and Music versions of Ensemble Stars. Thank you!
Hello! Please give it a day or two since it's a brand new event type and we'll be putting together a couple new pages from scratch; we'll have to type up new instructions for how to play the event too. Both of these things differ between Basic and Music, hence why it'll take a little bit of time, but we'll aim to have it up ASAP!
As a heads up, I had to temporarily clear the page's tabber contents because it was causing an infinite load error for some reason (probably just wiki glitching out), but I'll restore the contents once the pages are written up and ready to go. Thank you for your initiative :)
Hi again ^^ Just wanted to check, would there be a way to link each agencies' 5th anni card CGs to just 1 common file? Because they all have the same CG, bloomed or not, and uploading (eg. for Cospro) 17 versions of, inherently, the same image seemed quite spam-y haha..Any opinions/suggestions?
Hello. The StarPro CG file is Starmaker Production 5th Anniversary CG.png . This is the file used on each card page so far, and is seen used as the only CG for Eichi's in his gallery. I forgot the other galleries. I can add the missing image links to them now, but if you are also doing so, I do not want to accidentally overwrite or be overwritten.
