Juis has a dignified personality and remains composed no matter the occasion. He makes the most of his natural physique and captivates with his evocative expressions. He is the leader of MELLOW DEAR US. He is the lead vocalist and oversees performance.[1]
I'm the leader of MELLOW DEAR US, Juis Kojika. Well, you know that already. I never would've thought we'd be participating in the Mega Stream right after getting back to Japan. No matter where we go, and at any moment――let's love each other.[1]
NozomiJuis is the leader of MELLOW DEAR US, and someone whom we trust completely. He is noble, pure, and beautiful... It's all because an idol like Juis exists that this world shines bright. Because he loves idols, and he loves the fans.[1]

Juis describes himself as a guy who goes his own way and doesn't care about anything else. He considers himself ordinary and finds those around him in MELLOW DEAR US to be impressively and exhaustively eccentric.
Etymology[]
His surname, Kojika, contains the character for "small" (小) and the character for "deer" (鹿), and can be read as "fawn" (小鹿, kojika). His first name, Juis, is rendered in katakana.

Juis' family is an old and noble one, being a branch family of the Z.K. Zaibatsu that migrated overseas after the zaibatsu dissolutions during the Allied occupation of Japan following World War II. The family environment that Juis grew up in was very odd, as it aligned to the zaibatsu values that the Z.K. Zaibatsu enforced, such as his family having an obligation of fanatic love towards idols.[2] He had a rebellious period growing up where he rejected his family's behavior. When he began his pursuit of an idol, his family assumed it was an extension of his rebelliousness and renounced him as their son, allowing him to do as he wished. He often attracts attention when outside his house.[3]
