The deceased father of Subaru Akehoshi. Akehoshi was considered to be one of the Top Idols to have graduated from Yumenosaki, along with Seiya Hidaka. He is also known as Apostle (使徒, Shito) because he was one of Godfather's three confidants, as well as That Akehoshi throughout the story. His name used to be taboo after the Tragedy of That Akehoshi, which made a lot characters refer to him as That Akehoshi instead of his given name, which has not been revealed thus far. He died surrounded by scandal, which caused Subaru and his mother to be scorned.

Appearance[]

His appearance has yet to be fully revealed, but his silhouettes from the anime resembled his son a lot.

Personality[]

Akehoshi was known to be a very bright person, as he was kind and pure at heart. He was also a very talented idol that was admired by a lot of people, from his own son Subaru, to Nagisa Ran, and even by Godfather. He was very capable of bringing the warmth to the heart of people around him.

As an idol, Nagisa said that he was pretty much like Godfather, as if their souls were like twins. Despite being so close to Godfather, Akehoshi always held tight to his own views in the light. He appreciated Godfather as his senior, but even at the end of his life, he rejected Godfather's help despite him offering. Nagisa suspected that the reason why was Akehoshi's way to not disappoint his son, as he wanted to stay an idol that Subaru could look up to. This selfless nature ultimately led to Akehoshi's fall from fame, and the loss of his life.
