With your starter card ready, Let's move on to explaining the basic game mechanics.
For lessons, you can make a five-person unit out of any of your idols.
Theoretically, you’d be producing a unit of idols you want to raise, but…
This is your first time, after all. I’ll go ahead and pick out some idols for you.
The hand will first lead you into tapping the [Recommended Formation] button (top) Next, to [Save] changes press the yellow button (bottom)
Tip: Tapping the [Recommended Formation] button results in the game automatically organizing a team for you based on the cards you own with the highest overall stats.
Did you notice that the students slowly gain more trust in you as you do lessons with them?
The more a student trusts you, the more likely it is that the lesson will go well. The student will grow faster too.
Other than that, just keep an eye on how you’re divvying up your time if you want to raise all the idols equally~
Key Term ★
Trust - The bar under the idols which are filled up when the idols are trained with. Filling it up will increase EXP multiplier the idol will get at the end of the Lesson.
Good work. That’s one round of producing done and over with.
☆☆☆
Completing a Lesson course will give you a set amount of EXP to level up your Producer Rank, level up your cards, and Producer Points.
Each card will level up at a set amount according to the amount of AP the Lesson course requires.
A card may level up more than another if it's Trust was raised in the Lesson.
At the results screen you can also see all the jewels you've collected throughout the Lesson.
Any jewel fragments you obtain will be converted into small jewel(s). 100 jewel fragments = 1 small jewel.
Key Term ★
Producer Rank - Rises whenever a certain amount of experience has been gained. A new chapter of the Main Story will unlock with each rank up until rank 147 where it finishes. After that it's just an indicator of how much you've slaved your life away long you've played.
Producer Point - Used in Point Scouting and raising the levels of the cards.
AP - (Action Points) needed for Producing. Regenerates at a rate of 1 AP per 3 minutes. AP may be replenished with Items or Diamonds.
LP - (Live Points) needed for participating in Lives and Dream Festival. Regenerates at a rate of 1 LP per 30 minutes. LP may be replenished with Items and/or Diamonds.
#Jewels - Comes in several sizes and colors. They are used to unlock nodes on a card's Idol Road (covered a bit later on) in order to strengthen the card.
He looks like he’ll be worth the effort to produce.
Next, let’s look at how you can influence the direction an idol progresses in.
Apart from thinking up lesson plans, choosing a direction for your idols’ growth is another one of your important jobs as a producer.

CHECKPOINT!
Through the Idol Road you can raise the student's abilities. Each node will cost a certain amount of jewels, the amount increasing as you are closer to the end, so it is important to obtain as many jewels as possible to quickly strengthen the card.
Deciding how to unlock an idol’s hidden potential is where you can really show off your skill as a producer.
