Chiaki is the RYUSEI Red, the leader of RYUSEITAI at STARMAKER PRODUCTION.
FU HA HA HA HA! ☆ I'm Chiaki Morisawa, a member of RYUSEITAI! We work under STARMAKER PRODUCTION! My specialty is doing stunts, and I love watching tokusatsu shows! Everyday I work as hard as I physically can as a hero and an idol, while being supported by my comrades! If any of you ever lose heart or are in low spirits, or if you need saving, just call for me! ShinobuMorisawa-dono is the leader of RYUSEITAI. There are moments when he gets lost in the heat of the moment, or touchy-feely enough to surprise you, but... He holds a passionate heart inside! He's someone who perfectly fits the image of a sun~! He's always so kind and reliable that it influences me to work my hardest, as well. While I may not be as skilled as Morisawa-dono yet, I shall continue training to better myself, so that I may catch up to him~![2]

An idol who loves heroes, and lives life as one. He is the leader of RYUSEITAI-M within the entertainment industry. He is the type to go all out and straight into things, and a passionate person who treasures his comrades deeply. With a powerful, reassuring singing voice, his performances are straightforward with full force.
He is RYUSEI Red in STARMAKER PRODUCTION's RYUSEITAI.

Chiaki heads into things with full force and zeal. He is friendly to anyone no matter the person, but due to being too touchy-feely, his juniors can sometimes find him a nuisance. He's admired super heroes from a young age, and performs hero shows on his day off.
He loves to help people out, and is eager to undertake anything. To many people, he's seen as annoyingly enthusiastic, but he's a good-natured, optimistic upperclassman. He often gets injured during his stunt work, and has to be taken care of by the school doctor, Jin Sagami.
He is RYUSEI Red from the unit RYUSEITAI. He makes it a point for all members to have their own introductory line.
Appearance[]
Chiaki is tall and athletic. He has short brown hair kept in a tousled fashion, and matching colored eyes.
On stage, he wears the red color version of RYUSEITAI's uniform. It includes a black and white leather jacket with red accents and gold trimming and detailing. The jacket is longer on the back than it is in the front, and the inside is designed with a sparkly purple fabric, reminiscent of a galaxy. He wears a black shirt underneath and a gold necklace with a red star as well as white form-fitting pants with a sparkly purple stripe down the outer sides. This is accessorized with a red and white striped belt with a gold and red star-shaped buckle. The belt has golden strings dangling from it and a sparkly red and white wrap tied to it. He also wears tall red boots with white accents and gold detailing, along with a pair of black fingerless gloves.

At school he wears the school's uniform, with the blazer unbuttoned, in addition to the usual white shirt unbuttoned at the collar and a green tie. He is always seen smiling and filled with confidence. He wears red and white shoes with black laces and bird-symbol imprints.
On stage, he wears the red color version of RYUSEITAI's uniform. It includes a red leather jacket with white accents and a black shirt underneath. He also wears black form-fitting pants with a red stripe down the middle, accessorized with a star on a belt that has yellow and red strings dangling from it and wrap around the waist. He also wears tall white boots with red accents and a pair of black fingerless gloves.
Personality[]
Chiaki is a bright, passionate person. He expresses his love for his hobbies in dramatic but excitable ways, because he enjoys sharing his passion with other people, and likewise, enjoys it when other people do the same with him. He loves to dote on his juniors, no matter how cold they are to him.[3]
He enjoys having physical contact with people, and is known to embrace his friends and juniors to express his joy and love. His passion can be overbearing sometimes to other people due to how exaggerative and dramatic he expresses himself. However, he is a helpful and kind person, always willing to offer a helping hand or lend an ear.
He sees the good in every single person he meets, and loves to give compliments. He is extremely empathetic and a worrywart, and for that reason, is easily drawn towards the person who's suffering the most.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10] He has a pragmatic approach to the world, such as calling the police when situations are dangerous[11], or protecting people not by defeating "monsters", but by providing them with emotional comfort.
He has a very strong sense of responsibility as a hero and a leader, which has made him develop a habit of overworking himself; in the past, and even now, this has caused him to collapse from exhaustion.[12][13][14] His stubborn side is an extension of his sense of obligation, and he often has moments when he refuses to back down from his convictions.[15][16][17] Despite all this, there are times he can be timid and unsure of himself, such as not believing he's as good as the people around him, likely due to these self-esteem issues.[4][18][19]
Chiaki is also noted by Kanata as well as himself to be a "crybaby"[20][21], and often cries in emotional moments, whether happy or sad; despite that, he has a strong enough pride that makes him want to hide those tears away. Not only that, but due to the fear of being seen as uncool by his juniors (and by kids who look up to him), he often shows a strong front whenever they're around. On the other hand, he doesn't do it as much with people his age, especially those who are close to him, such as Kanata and Kuro.
He thinks and talks to himself often, especially in attempts to calm himself down.[22][23][24]
Etymology[]
Chiaki's first name means "a thousand autumns". Incidentally, he was born in autumn, and autumn is often connected with the color red. The "Mori" (守) in his family name means "protect".

Trivia[]
- Chiaki's autograph consists of his full name rendered in kanji. It's as energetic and passionate as him and reflects his personality.
- His unit is inspired by superhero shows, which is another reason for his red-themed outfit, as the leader of a superhero squad is often connected to this color.
- He loves all kinds of tokusatsu shows, and is often referencing Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Super Sentai shows in stories.
- Some references appear in his cards as well. In his Burning Red card, he is doing a Rider Kick, which is an iconic finishing move of Kamen Riders within the franchise. In his Academy Idol and 3rd Anniversary cards, he can be seen doing Kamen Rider 1's pose.
- He has also seen the tokusatsu-like animated franchise Pretty Cure.[27] It is produced by Toei, which also produces the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai series.
- His voice is naturally loud.[14][28]
- His dream is to eat a lunch box prepared by his girlfriend.[29][30]
- He has a dislike for eggplants because of their texture and taste.[31]
- He enjoys reading books, and has a habit of reading something before sleeping.[32][33][34]

- Chiaki was a sickly child, and to this day he's still sensitive to weather changes, as it may cause him to fall extremely ill.[37][13][38]
- Despite being full of energy most of the time, he actually suffers from low blood pressure, and is bad with mornings.[39]
- He's terrified of ghosts, and being alone in the dark frightens him for that reason.[24][33][40]
