| Tatsumi: Anzu. Thank you for your help in the radio show meeting earlier. The way you guided the discussion ensured everything went smoothly, and we didn't end up pressed for time. Thanks to you, I even have a moment to enjoy my bento before my next job. |
|
| Anzu: This next show is... | |
|---|---|
| Tatsumi: We're planning a talk-show-style interview with a guest, but we haven't decided who it will be yet... I think it could be interesting for me to have a talk with someone I've never had a deep conversation with before. |
|
| Anzu: I guess I've just done it a lot? | |
|---|---|
| Tatsumi: Hehe. It is important to have a good idea of the plan in your mind. Now I have some extra time and I get a chance to chat with you, Anzu. I'm very grateful. |
|
| Anzu: It wasn't all thanks to me. | |
|---|---|
| Tatsumi: You're still far too modest. I'm sure everyone at the meeting is grateful to you, Anzu. It was such a pleasant meeting from start to finish, which makes me even more excited for the actual show...♪ |

| Tatsumi: Hm? Ah, you're wondering if this bento is home-made? It is. I had some extra time this morning, so I made it myself. When I'm busy, I often end up getting pre-made meals from the store or just eating out, so I thought this might be nice for today. |
|
| Anzu: It looks delicious. | |
|---|---|
| Tatsumi: Hehe. Would you like to try a bite? Sure, please do! I'm really proud of how my omelet turned out today...♪ |
|
| Anzu: You're a talented cook! | |
|---|---|
| Tatsumi: I actually heard from Koga that you cook sometimes, too, Anzu. ... There was a course at Yumenosaki where you made your own lunches? Oh, that sounds interesting! |
|
| Anzu: How healthy! | |
|---|---|
| Tatsumi: Yeah. I feel like if I keep eating pre-made meals or going out for food, I'll miss out on certain nutrients. When I make lunch for myself, I try to make it more balanced and wholesome♪ |

| Tatsumi: I cook for the other members of ALKALOID, so lately, I've been paying attention to nutrition and how the lunches look. For instance, instead of just cutting the boiled carrots into coin shapes, I cut them into cherry blossoms... Even something as simple as that can surprise them and make them happy―which makes me happy in return. |
|
| Anzu: That's awesome. | |
|---|---|
| Tatsumi: It's nothing special, really. Just knowing everyone will enjoy it makes the work a pleasure. If I am just cooking for myself, though, I won't think to do this extra work... It's kind of strange, isn't it? |
|
| Anzu: Appearances are important, aren't they? | |
|---|---|
| Tatsumi: Absolutely. No matter how delicious a dish is, if it doesn't look good, it can be really unappealing. Cutting the carrots into cherry blossoms instead of coins makes the whole meal seem more extravagant and delicious, don't you think? |
|
| Anzu: That extra effort is important, isn't it? | |
|---|---|
| Tatsumi: It is. I think it's because when you put in that extra bit of effort, it feels like you've put more love into it. They say it's the thought that counts, but the appearance of the meal is important in expressing that thought... It really makes you think, doesn't it? |
