Chiaki joins a shuffle unit to brainstorm ideas about a date plan. Though all members seem fit for this job, they fail to make any progress. And Kaoru is not at his best...

Date Plan (デートプラン, dēto puran) is an event story released on Apr 15th 2020. It can be obtained through point rewards during SHUFFLE×Love√AtoZ event. Producers can unlock story chapters manually after one month from the story's release at the cost of 3^JP or 30^GLB for each chapter. The song Date Plan A to Z is associated with this story.

It features Hajime, Tomoya, Yuta, Mitsuru, Kaoru, Chiaki, Rei, Nazuna, Sora, Natsume, Tsumugi, Nagisa, and Niki.

Prologue
1	Episode 1	Summer
Taking place after summer break, Kaoru is shopping at Season Avenue. While he is walking, Kaoru thinks about his public image as a playboy, and how much he has changed despite the label sticking. During his walk, he sees a necklace that suits Anzu. Catching himself thinking about her too much, his thought process is interrupted by Anzu herself, startling Kaoru. Anzu approaches Kaoru and tells him about a job offer involving a “date plan”, but leaves the details unknown until the next day. After she leaves, Kaoru wonders what the job offer entails. He further questions whether the date plan has to do with Anzu’s personal life or their relationship, but shakes it off and goes back to shopping.
Meeting
2	Episode 1	Summer
Kaoru arrives at the ES building’s reception room, where he is greeted by Chiaki. Chiaki explains to him that multiple members are here to come up with the date plan. Mitsuru, Natsume, and Niki introduce themselves to Kaoru, despite initial wariness towards Niki from the other members, due to events in the Main Story. Anzu explains an Inter-Unit Project proposed by the P-Association that will sponsor a local fashion retail event meant to showcase the ideal date proposed by ES idols. The members gathered to discuss the project, as well as come to an agreement with Niki and his presence. Afterward, they appoint Kaoru as captain of the project due to his experience with the subject matter. Kaoru agrees to be a responsible leader, and the idols wish for the project to be a success.
3	Episode 2	Summer
Half an hour later, the members of the project gather in the Seisoukan Apartment’s kitchen, where Niki is preparing them a meal. His cooking defuses the tension between the idols, and they start to get along as the food is served. Natsume exchanges conversation with Niki, where Kaoru is requested to translate the meaning of his complicated speech. Mitsuru eagerly enjoys his food as Chiaki expresses his gratitude for their getting along. Kaoru and Chiaki agree to discuss all of their date plan ideas after finishing the delicious meal.
4	Episode 3	Summer
An hour after their meal, Kaoru begins their meeting to discuss their date plan ideas for the women’s magazine. Chiaki expresses wanting to include sports to better showcase his strengths as an idol. Kaoru agrees and states Chiaki and Mitsuru’s plan may center around sports. Natsume says he prefers relaxed places, and Niki adds that he prefers restaurants and food. With these conflicting ideas, the idols discuss how girls are difficult to understand. Mitsuru prompts Kaoru to help them. Kaoru briefly goes quiet as he comes to the realization that he is also somewhat clueless about women. He replies that it is hard to put into words how he gets along with girls. Natsume instead comes up with the idea to think about their target audience. The members agree to specifically think of the reader and research to better come up with the perfect date plan.
Round Trip
5	Episode 1	Summer
Kaoru returns to his shared dorm room with Yuta and Nagisa. Yuta greets him upon his return, while Nagisa continues to read a book. Kaoru shares about his exhaustion after his busy day with Yuta, and says he doesn’t understand girls. He appears distraught as he expresses his conflicting feelings surrounding his past behavior toward girls. Yuta misunderstands, and teases Kaoru about having feelings for someone. Kaoru explains the job offer, and asks Yuta for advice. Yuta suggests for Kaoru to ask the producer for help. Interrupting their conversation, Chiaki suddenly bursts into the room with a bow on his head. He asks Kaoru out on a date with him, and pushes Kaoru out of the room, leaving Yuta and Nagisa confused. Meanwhile, Mitsuru, Niki, and Natsume discuss their own ideas. Natsume suggests they watch romantic dramas, but their plan is interrupted by Chiaki and Kaoru leaving. The other members decide to follow them.
6	Episode 2	Summer
While outside, Kaoru tiredly questions Chiaki why they were going out on a date. Chiaki states he wants to cheer Kaoru up, recognizing his difficulty earlier that day with girls, stating that he could help him by going out on a date. Kaoru expresses how absurd he finds the concept. Kaoru agrees to hang out instead, as they have less time to do so as adults in comparison to when they were in school. They discuss what to do, and decide to go downtown together and enjoy themselves despite the late hour. Chiaki drags Kaoru along the way with his abundant energy.
7	Episode 3	Summer
As Chiaki and Kaoru talk to each other, the other members spy on them from afar to use as a reference for their date plans. As Niki shares his bread with Mitsuru, he expresses confusion on why they are stalking Chiaki and Kaoru. Natsume tells them that Kaoru and Chiaki are dating, to their surprise, and reads Kaoru’s lips to tell them that they will be heading to Time Street. He points out to the other members that both Kaoru and Chiaki were also struggling with their date plans, but kept it from their juniors in order to appear reliable and confident for them. Afterward, the idols continue their plan to follow Chiaki and Kaoru to further study them.
8	Episode 4	Summer
Chiaki and Kaoru arrive at Time Street. They view all the attractions together in the bustling street. Chiaki spots an arcade with an American comic heroes fighting game advertised, and starts a conversation with Kaoru about their hobbies in heroes and surfing respectively. Chiaki and Kaoru decide to play the arcade game they saw against each other. Kaoru beats him, and they continue their outing. Chiaki comments that Kaoru seems less stressed, but Natsume interrupts their conversation with the other two members. They all decide to continue their outing all together. As Niki leads them to a restaurant, Kaoru thinks to himself that Chiaki is a better leader for the project than him, and resolves to tell Anzu.
Assembly
9	Episode 1	Summer
The next day, the members gather for another meeting. Niki and Chiaki discuss food places for the date plan. Natsume reflects on how much better the group is getting along. Anzu then speaks to Natsume about how well the project has been going thus far. Natsume mentions to her that Kaoru is reliable as he assists Mitsuru. They join the conversation, and Mitsuru expresses his frustration with his date plan. Kaoru reassures Anzu to focus on her part, as they would figure out theirs together. The other members offer Mitsuru help and encouragement as they continue their work.
10	Episode 2	Summer
After several hours, Mitsuru is still struggling with his date plan. Kaoru suggests wrapping up for the day, and Chiaki reassures Mitsuru that he has time. With Niki’s later offering of food, the members dash out of the room, leaving Kaoru to talk with Anzu. He says how the other members have cheered him up, and asks her if he is being a good leader, sharing his thoughts about Chiaki being a better captain. Anzu assures Kaoru that any leader would struggle, and tells him that everything will turn out alright. Kaoru reflects on his actions and thoughts on stepping down. He expresses his willingness to complete the project to Anzu, determined to face everything head on.
11	Episode 3	Summer
The next day, Mitsuru calls the members of Rabits for a meeting to help him with his date plan. Hajime makes tea for the members as Nazuna reassures Mitsuru of being happy to help. Mitsuru explains to the members of Rabits his problem, and asks them for their help, as they know him well. They suggest ideas, and collectively decide to go to the amusement park together with Mitsuru. Sora suddenly appears with Tsumugi and Natsume, expressing his interest and asking about what the date plan was about. Natsume explains the project, and hits Tsumugi in response to his teasing. Natsume assures Sora that he will succeed for Switch’s benefit, and compliments Sora after he expresses his willingness to be patient. Afterward, Natsume states that Kaoru has proven himself, and that the project is heading in the right direction.
12	Episode 4	Summer
Kaoru views the date plan group chat in the hallway, seeing Mitsuru’s amusement park photos and his success after asking Ra*bits for help. He meets Chiaki in the hallway. Chiaki comments that Kaoru seems to have found his confidence once more, and after Kaoru mentions having one more thing in mind, Chiaki offers his help. Niki interrupts their conversation, saying that Rinne had criticized his date plan and called it predictable. Kaoru confirms that this was the last thing, and that the project needed one last addition. Kaoru reassures that he can make the project spectacular, and that the members could rely on him to make them succeed.
Epilogue
13	Episode 1	Summer
A few days later, the members start shooting for the ES Inter-Unit Project. They discuss the fancy uniforms they are wearing, and talk about how different they are from their usual unit clothing. Kaoru says that he was glad everyone took his advice on the project to improve the date plans. After discussing how Natsume got some assistance from Tsumugi, the members move on to start shooting the opening, talking about how they feel more passionate than they had at the beginning. Kaoru thinks about his gratitude towards Anzu. The shooting starts, and the members film.
14	Episode 2	Summer
After the end of the shooting, Kaoru attends an UNDEAD meeting, seeing that Rei has arrived first. Rei tells Kaoru how much he missed him, and mentions how Kaoru could have come to him for help. He also compliments Kaoru for his independence and success with the project. Kaoru talks about wanting to wrap up the Inter-Unit Project correctly, but wanting to remain mature. Rei tells him to take initiative and plan an after-party for those involved. After accepting more advice from Rei, Kaoru messages the other members and Anzu to plan the after-party in celebration of their success.
