Crazy:B is a rising star of Cosmic Production led by Rinne Amagi. It is passionate, party-style and specializes in creating heated and lively atmosphere with their fans. The members mainly participate in media jobs that best express their characteristics, including guests in variety shows and talk shows, radio personalities, commercial fashion models, etc. The theme color is yellow.
They are affiliated with COSMIC PRODUCTION.
Etymology[]
"Crazy:"(クレイジー) is used, in this case, to mean that they are seen in different ways than normal, as being wrong and don't fit in with the rest. Everything that is outside the normality is called crazy.
The "B" (ビー) is the first letter in the word "Bees". Bees are known for their monarchy, especially the queen bee and worker bees, and also for their venom being lethal to others and to themselves: after using their sting and injecting venom into someone, bees are quickly killed by their own actions.

Crazy:B was a precautionary unit formed by Ibara Saegusa to match the unit formed by Eichi Tenshouin, ALKALOID. The members called to participate in Crazy:B were Rinne, HiMERU, Kohaku and Niki.
Ibara's plan was to make Crazy:B act like "dangerous villains", so that other units could beat them and make them stronger, as Trickstar had already done in past. His plan didn't work, precisely because the unit's leader, Rinne Amagi, wanted to criticize and give his opinion on what he thought of the "new image of idols". He disdained current idols and was seen as the "wrong one" in the situation, which made him want to return to his hometown.
With the disappearance of Rinne, and consequently of Niki who followed him, HiMERU deduced that he would have to return to his solo career, but Kohaku did not want to lose his freedom. With the help of other units, such as the ALKALOID, UNDEAD and RYUSEITAI, they managed to bring all of Crazy:B back together.
With many idols encouraging him to change his mind and telling him not to give up on his dream of becoming an idol, especially his brother Hiiro Amagi, Rinne decides to continue with Crazy:B once and for all.
Crazy:B is currently active in Japan, incorporated under COSMIC PRODUCTION.

- Crazy:B was first added during the release of Ensemble Stars!! along with the unit ALKALOID.
- The unit was established to be "the poison that hurt ES […] as well as the cure", as stated by Ibara[1]. This also serves as a parallel to one of ALKALOID's themes.
