1	Episode 1	Summer
Yuta and Shinobu spot the last limited-edition plushie in the crane machine at the arcade. The two work together to try to win the plushie, but fail after several attempts. Since they both have to go to work soon, Shinobu suggests that they should get going. Yuta notices Shinobu's dissatisfaction, and Shinobu confesses his concern on leaving the plushie behind, since it is the last one available. Nevertheless, they head to work without it. After some time passes, Shinobu mentions that he revisited the arcade after work and found that the plushie was gone. He finds Mayoi, who asks him why he looks so down. Shinobu relays the day's events to him and Mayoi encourages him by promising to grant his wishes. Mayoi then pulls out the plushie and admits that he was the one who won it in Shinobu's stead after overhearing Shinobu talk about wanting it. While Shinobu is grateful for the gift, he tells Mayoi he truly wanted the plushie to gift to Midori, as Midori is collecting the series and was missing the final plushie in the collection. He had been feeling down because he hadn't managed to get it himself, so Shinobu wanted to get it for him to make him smile again. However, since Shinobu received it as a gift, he feels conflicted re-gifting it. He solves this dilemma by giving Mayoi a different plushie that he had won earlier, therefore making it an exchange.
2	Episode 2	Summer
In Café Cinnamon, Niki catches Mayoi humming to himself and comments on how his noticeably cheery mood makes him smell good. Mayoi asks him not to come any closer. On the other side of the café, Midori is treating Shinobu to dessert as thanks for completing his collection. They watch and commentate on Niki and Mayoi's squabble. Midori comes to the conclusion that they must be acting out a hero show, but Shinobu has his doubts. Mayoi calls out to Shinobu for help, and Shinobu, as a hero, grabs Midori to run to his aid. The hero act nearly falls apart when Niki replies calmly, but Mayoi's avid encouragement leads Shinobu to continue to play into it. Niki easily cooperates by lying down on the sofa like a defeated enemy. Midori points out that Anzu saw the entire thing. Niki stands up, still confused by the charade, and leaves Midori feeling embarrassed for their actions. Niki thanks them for allowing him to momentarily rest at work and recommends them the café's specialty desserts. Midori asks Anzu to forget what she saw, then begs her not to tell Chiaki about it.
3	Episode 3	Summer
After eating together with the others, Mayoi brought some of the desserts back to share with ALKALOID. He enters Hiiro's dorm to find him deep in thought. Hiiro tells Mayoi that he received a job offer from a famous vlogger to be a special guest on a live stream. However, he confesses he knows little about the subject—handicrafts—and asks for Mayoi's advice. Mayoi suggests watching the vlogger's past videos with similar themes to learn more about the content. He also suggests a hands-on approach by visiting a handicraft workshop. Several days later, Niki offers Kohaku a bite of his new dish in the dorm kitchen. Niki tells Kohaku how he visited a store that specialized in making cute mascot-shaped cakes, and how it inspired him to create a cute dessert himself. They then receive a message from Rinne in the Crazy:B group chat asking to feast together the following day. Niki is pleased with this announcement, until he gets a separate message from Rinne with all the food he wants to eat. Kohaku tells Niki to ignore him, but Niki decides to make the dishes anyway. Kohaku volunteers to go grocery shopping with him.
4	Episode 4	Summer
Niki and Kohaku finish the shopping when Kohaku remembers they are nearby a store that Aira likes. He asks Niki if he can spot a store for idol merchandise so that he can bring back a gift for Aira, but Niki is too focused on a dessert display window. He takes a closer look only to find out that the desserts are fake, but he still considers tasting them nonetheless. Mayoi and Hiiro run into him and try to stop him from eating the fake food display. Kohaku steps in, and the three of them manage to hold him off. After the chaos, Mayoi tells Niki and Kohaku about how he and Hiiro came to the shopping mall to visit the handicraft workshop—in which you can create fake sweets—when they saw Niki at the display. Niki and Kohaku decide to join Mayoi and Hiiro at the workshop, and Mayoi offers to help any of them if they get stuck. Mayoi allows Niki to help him create a fake house made of sweets and decorated with mascot characters to display the plushie Shinobu had given him.
5	Episode 5	Summer
After completing his own project, Hiiro helps Mayoi with his diorama, as Mayoi's design is more elaborate and time-consuming to complete. Mayoi is overjoyed that Hiiro is assisting him, but is startled out of his thoughts, and thanks Hiiro for his help. Hiiro thanks him in return for his advice and for bringing him to the workshop. Niki, surrounded by fake sweets, starts to feel hungry, so Kohaku leaves to buy him food after finishing up his project. Hiiro brings Mayoi some accessories that match the mascots—a bow tie and a devil's tail—and Mayoi uses them to finish up his fake house. Hiiro, Niki, and Kohaku all comment on the high quality of Mayoi's work. Niki suggests eating together when they return to the dorms, since he bought a lot more food than necessary while grocery shopping. Mayoi nearly retreated, but the other three encourage him to join them for a meal.
