| Distorted Heart (Song) | Isn't the MV for Alka's Distorted Heart the best! From the very first line, "There you go again," the song's theme of "one-sided love" is already made clear. I became fixated on the shape of a begonia's leaves while thoroughly researching flower language and decided the title based on that. In YourSpe's lyrics, "Space of Ace" (usually written the other way around) sounds like they're saying "All of us are Aces (trump cards),"→ but it's connected to the line in this song's second B melody, "No cards to play." I like how "Twist it how you like" here shows the extent of the unrequited love. Because the heart is distorted, its one-sidedness (in love) is intense—that's one aspect of it. So, while this is a love song through and through...→ I thought it would be interesting if the song's meaning changed just a little when taking into account how it connects to each of the members of ALKALOID. When I thought about how it could be a song where their "romantic interest" was actually aimed towards their ideal selves as idols, and how they, who are in a sense "distorted idols," are resolved to make their fans' smiles bloom despite that, I concluded that this song is about the heart suit, and wrote the lyrics with that thought in mind.→ By the way, this is just a coincidence, but while begonia flowers are edible their leaves (the distorted hearts) are poisonous, I feel like they fit ALKALOID nicely! |

| Little Romance (Song) | いくつかのお話はゲームサイズの際にさせて頂いたのですが、今回の曲は‼︎での初曲ということで、彼らの新体制もイメージしております。 2番Aの司パートからのレオパートは、この歌によるファンタジー世界での戴冠式をイメージしました。それを受けてのIF的SilentOath前日譚的要素も2サビに強く反映してみました。Knightsで『月』ですと2人浮かぶのですが、どちらを想起するかで違った見え方になると思います！ SO (姫と騎士故の結ばれない純愛)の前日譚っていっちゃうと恋としては不穏なのですが…どんな筋書-みらい-を思い描いてもいい、幼い日の小さな恋の物語を純粋にイメージしていただければ、ひょっとしたらそれこそが新しいKnightsの一面になるかも？とか考えてます。題は同名の映画から持ってきました。 |

| Endless Vide (Song) | フラタニティ(意味は友愛組織らしいですね…)の歌うCW『エンドレスヴィーデ』の作編曲は浅倉大介さん!!作詞は松井洋平です。エイプリルフール企画『宇宙戦争編』のテーマソングです！巨大ロボで宇宙でドリフェスしちたら大変なことになる なんか書くことないかなと思ってたのですが、…時間なくて作詞プロットの箇条書きを直しました。ので、逆に長くて纏まりないです、すみません、貼っちゃいます。 ヴィーデにはいくつかの意味が重なってます。音楽記号としてのヴィーデは同じマークへ飛べ(翔べ○○○ムという歌もあることだしさ…)、でもその先に反復記号が待っていて無限ループが始まるようなイメージです。シン・あんさんぶるスターズ:llみたいになっちゃいましたが…。 また、ラテン語で「見よ」、記号が照準みたいな記号を打つと照準の中の相手を撃つ行為、それが終わりなく続く。あと、強引にみると、種子と墓標で生と死。突然種子が出てきた理由は察して下さい。そして、ヴィーデはフランス語では空っぽ、真空、虚無。これもエンドレスで、宇宙戦争を表現。 重力は誰もが持つもの、それは重さが持つ力だけど、宇宙ではそれを感じることができない。惹かれあう想いが無効化されるイメージ。それでも強い重さ(存在感)を持つが故に惹かれ合う人間たちの物語だから自動的に悲劇になる。 メビウスは無限だけじゃなく、表と裏の相反するものと思っていたものが実は同一という象徴。戦争の善悪。一箇所切れば解けるけど、それは裏表を完全なものにしてしまう行為。絆が絶たれてしまう。もちろん言葉自体も個人的にオマージュ入ってます、てかこの曲メビウスという言葉から始めました、ええ。 ロボットアニメといえば絶望の叫び。アイドルのそれはアリア。ところで暦は偶像歴ES0006とかなのかなと思ったりしたり。ディーヴァは歌姫であり女神なのでES宇宙の悲劇に嵌る言葉でもあるし、作編曲が浅倉さんということへのオマージュでもあります。わかる人にはわかる。 そんな要素と5人の奈落、繰り糸、騎士道、異分子、劇重愚直主人公要素をディーヴァであるプロデューサーが『コーディネート』したイメージの歌詞です。とっちらかっててすみません。あとは2021/4/1をエンドレスに広げてください！！ |

| Aisle, be with you (Song) | シャッフルユニットRing.A.Bellの楽曲『Aisle, be with you』の作詞を担当させて頂きました。タイトルはwedding aisle(ウェディングアイル、日本でいうバージンロード)からですが、I'll be with youと読むようなイメージです。aisleはぱっと見「アイスル」って読めますよね。 バージンロードが教会の通路を、始まってから今日までの人生に見立てているということや、愛する人の家への道すがらに花を集めて花束にしてプロポーズするというブーケに纏わる話などを折り込めて、weddingを超えて向こう側まで続く人生も側にいたいという意味を込めたタイトルです！ ちなみにプロポーズがYESなら、返事の代わりにブーケの中から一輪を胸ポケットに挿すのがブートニアの由来とのことですが、MV衣装の胸元には鈴蘭ぽいブローチが… P.S. |

Si vis〜は茨先生でおなじみのラテン語の格言『汝平和を欲さば、戦への備えをせよ』が原型ですがpacem(平和)をartem(芸術)にヴァルを、para bellumは銃弾(映画ジョン・ウィック:パラベラム)も意味する言葉でもあるのでアルカをイメージしています。 ２サビのCARTAはトランプの他に占い要素、オペラカルメンなどでも出てきます。Kiss of Lifeの誰かに押された刻印〜に紐づく箇所。「偶像」という言葉の扱われ方が礼賛歌と違います、この言葉の別の側面が表現されるのもヴァルならではかと思っています。 |

| EXCEED (Song) | Edenの新曲『EXCEED』の作詞を担当させて頂きました！今までのEdenとは違う雰囲気を感じさせる詞でありながら、今までのEdenの系譜になるように、色々工夫を凝らしつつ、ジュン君センター曲(！)らしいストレートに伝わる歌詞にする為、歌い分け決めての当て書きをしました。→ 年長組は「遙かなる高み」に、千尋の谷の底から目に「光」を灯して這い上がる「人間」としての年下組。元々「神話」の多くで神の独壇場になるのは「創世」と「終末」。ここまではGENESIS三部作で描けたので、ここから神と人との関わりがメインになることによってEdenの曲に展開が生まれるのではと。 タイトルのEXCEEDは、あまり神話っぽくないチョイスに敢えてしてますが、「EX-SEED」と読み換えて意訳すると「特別な種族」となり、AdamとEveの物語が続いてることがわかります。これを書いてる頃にはまだ「楽園追放」を知らなかったので、まるで誰かの掌の上にいるようです。西遊記も楽しみ。 最後、神から気付かない間にお釈迦様になってたのは多分閣下が某舞台に出られるからとゆーオチからの舞台への期待だけなんですがね… |

| Or the Beautiful Golden Drop (Song) | というわけで、昨日の生放送で新曲の発表がありました！ 改めて、ご視聴いただいた皆様、本当にありがとうございました！ 楽曲の世界観に関しては、我らがお姫様をルイス・キャロル原作『Alice in Wonderland』に登場する主人公・アリスとし、Knightが開催するお茶会に招かれた１場面を描いているものと思われます。ただ細かい内容に関してはフルver.の歌詞を見ながら想像を膨らましてもらった方が楽しめると思いますので… 今回は大変ありがたいことに、久しぶりにセンターをいただいた泉にスポットライトを当ててみたいと思います。 今回注目するのはMV。このMVでの泉に対して思うのは、ﾞアイドル・瀬名泉ﾞではなくﾞ俳優・瀬名泉ﾞが見えたことでした。 幼い頃からモデルとして活動し、バレエも習っていたことで、こと立ち姿やパフォーマンスのシルエットに関しては、本人にも相当のプライドがあり、生き馬の目を抜くアイドル業界において、彼の自尊心を保つアドバンテージの一つだったのではないかと思います。 その反面【俳優】としての演技力に関しては、小手先では通用しないものがあり（レッスンや自主練はしてるけどね）、日々樹渉をはじめ演技派アイドル達に対しては事実上相当のディスアドバンテージがあり、泉本人としても、ある種のコンプレックスになっていたと思います。 実は…実際にとある収録の際【演劇の舞台に立った時の泉の台詞】に対して、「モデルとしてのスキルはとても高いのですが、俳優としてはまだそこまで成熟していないので、キャラが変わるほどの演技は抑えてみてください」というアドバイスいただいたことがあります。（自分の分析不足に反省） この時、何故か僕も少し悔しい気持ちになりました。完璧主義の泉。無論、他のアイドルもそれぞれの得意分野にて本気で培ってきた時間が違う。それは分かっている。それが現実であり、現在点での真実。でも…でも！というような、彼の中で燃え盛るなにかを感じました。 しかし、たゆまぬ努力を続け、幸運により手に入れた映画『真夜中のバトラー』W主演抜擢（ゆうくんと：超吉）を経て、立ちはだかる巨大な壁に立ち向かい、“芝居”について“演技”について“俳優”について本気で考え、本気で向き合い、本気で自分を変えようと努力した彼が… 今回のMVで見せた様々な表情は、彼が真正面から立ち向かった無数の屈辱と挑戦と、敗北と、再挑戦を、地獄の苦しみを経て辿り着いた集大成のような気がしているのです。諦めなければ挫折にはならない。勝つまでやれば敗北はない。むしろ執着することにかけては負けたことがない（色んな意味で笑）。 MV最後の彼の作る表情には、様々な挑戦を経た【俳優・瀬名泉ここにあり】と言わんばかりの姿が垣間見え、単に「格好いい」や「素敵」を越えた、感動すら覚えたのでした。 決して当たり前ではないセンターに立たせてもらっている彼の雄姿を、どうか心行くまで狂い見てください♪ 長々と失礼しました。 追伸：こうして此処に立っていられるのも、手をとってくれるお姫様と、心から信頼する仲間がいるからです。本当にありがとうございます。これからも粘り強く生きます。勿論、ゆうくんに関してm |

| Hoshi no Meidou Hibikishi Toki ni (Song) | Expressing the interlocking of gears is no easy task in 3D, so it's really thanks to the staff's hard work. Hoshi no Meidou Hibikishi Toki ni is a brand new song that was unveiled in tandem with the MV. The lyrics were written by Youhei Matsui-san, and the composition is by Kohei Tanaka-san. When I heard the powerful, bass overture for the first time, I thought "is this a soundtrack for a space war movie?!" (laughs). The lyrics are incredibly grandiose, I wondered how to pull off something equally as grandiose in the span of the three minute duration of the Mv as to not get overshadowed by the song, and proposed the creation and destruction of a planet.

In each [Sei Shounen Yuugi and Hoshi no Meidou Hibikishi Toki ni] there is a cut of Mika Kagehira smiling faintly, but otherwise there are no pronounced smiles. Sei Shounen Yuugi is a song that distinctly has the scent of death, so I found it to be an atmosphere difficult to smile in. Hoshi no Meidou Hibikishi Toki ni is a song about overcoming trials and creating something new whilst thinking back upon the past, so I similarly found it to be an atmosphere difficult to smile in. However, in contrast to Sei Shounen Yuugi in where the character's feelings are directed towards the past, in Hoshi no Meidou Hibikishi Toki ni the character's feelings are directed towards the future, so the inner feelings of the two characters are completely different in each.

More specifically, we created three settings that would convey three different, grand impressions; 1. a room inside a clock tower, 2. a gothic-style room, and 3. an abandoned chapel inside a church. | BUTTERFLY EFFECT (Song) | ７月２６日、リリースのお知らせまだまだ続きます！ 今回は「あんさんぶるスターズ！」の先生たちが、アイドルだった時代に歌っていたアイドルソングです！ 「あんさんぶるスターズ」のお仕事はこれが初でしたが、なかなか懐かしい〜感じの歌謡曲というかJ-POPというか、聞いた瞬間に「ホホ〜〜〜〜ッ！」と唸る楽曲でした。 「うん、この路線なのね」と即座に世界観を構築できたという、安産中の安産の楽曲でした。 佐賀美陣（CV：樋柴智康さん）の楽曲「微熱カルナバル」は今の佐賀美陣にたどり着くまで、一体どんな恋をして来たんだろう？というイメージを膨らませた物語です。もちろんアイドル時代のフィクションの歌ではありますが、こういう切なさをあの憂いある歌声にのせた時、そこまでの経験値が必ず出るのでは？？と狙ってみました。 椚章臣（CV.駒田 航さん）の楽曲「BUTTERFLY EFFECT」はある意味真逆で、少年から青年への窮屈さ。青春のぎこちない痛みをきっと椚章臣は繊細に歌い上げるだろうなぁというイメージでその葛藤が歌詞に現れるように紡いでみました。 どちらの楽曲もきっとカラオケとかで歌うとハマりそう！是非是非楽しんで聴いてみてくださいね！ |

Kuwabara: For that one, I had asked a rapper (invisible manners) to handle the rap portions, and Matsui-san to handle everything else., Matsui: I also prepared the materials to send over to the rapper. That was difficult! Kuwabara: I bet... (bitter laugh) This is also something that can only be achieved after nine years of experience. These characters are so deeply explored that someone cannot tell at first glance things like what a character would or would not say, or how they would say things in certain contexts. So I asked Matsui-san to write the lyrics, plus "this is what I want each character to say," lines, how they speak, etc. to be sent to the rapper. If we had the rapper write it all from the bottom up, it would have taken around four months, including reading up on the scenario. Matsui: I was able to make decisions like the character combs for each rap and such, would request to have "him say this here" and "him say that there," and then created first, second, and third person materials for each character. (...) Matsui: I also put thought into what Ibara Lecture and Keito Lecture each are. "I'd think to myself, "what makes Ibara Lecture and Keito Lecture..." and study and write down each of their principles and how they differ, made a presentation out of it, and gave it to the rapper to read. Kuwabara: Thanks to that, the song was able to be completed after only one, two revisions! The song's production went very smoothly. I'm very grateful for your hard work! |

For the lyrics that sounded wounded, I asked the singers to "make it sound like you've been mortally wounded!," something like "that's a nice injury (laughs)."
